Cultivating the Intelligence Within to Lead Self & Others More Effectively!
“Knowledge is power, and it can help you overcome any fear of the unexpected. When you learn, you gain more awareness through the process, and you know what pitfalls to look for as you get ready to transition to the next level.

Emotional intelligence (EI) entails learning to convert destructive emotional reactions into constructive responses that build relationships and teamwork. The four primary components of emotional intelligence are self-awareness, self-management, social awareness and relationship management. Leaders who have strong EI skills in each of these four areas excel by connecting and resonating with others. Research shows that a leader’s emotions are contagious, and this will impact whether an organization thrives or flounders. Emotionally intelligent leaders understand how to manage interpersonal chemistry to facilitate a climate of trust crucial for high performance workplaces. To increase emotional intelligence, leaders must practice new behaviors and interrupt outdated self-defeating habits that can disrupt relationships and cooperative teamwork.
This highly interactive workshop provides leaders an opportunity for self-assessment and a framework for how to increase their EI, providing tools for daily practice.
Understand how emotional intelligence improves individual leadership influence and affects the organization’s culture.
Understand how the human brain can rewire itself to improve relationships, resolve conflicts, and build teamwork.

Increase awareness of personal emotional intelligence strengths and areas for improvement.
“Once we gain the understanding that the human brain is wired to associate meaning to people and situations around us, we begin to become keenly aware that our emotional responses are being automatically triggered - most of the time. This all takes place below our conscious awareness. Part of increasing EI involves understanding these patterns and how they influence thoughts and behaviors. ”

Enhancing the learning experience
We integrate the use of a “pre/post-assessment” tool to gauge where the learner currently is so that they may be able to identify where they would like to put their focus and/or how to prioritize their individual learning experience.
A personalized action plan will be created at the conclusion of each learning experience which will identify 1-2 actions to be taken prior to the next session; to encourage practical application in real world scenarios.
Program participants will experience weekly opportunities to gain practical experience through observation, reflection or "real-world" interaction where a specific action is implemented and then debriefed with a peer partner.
